About the Creator – LaRaine Duhart

LaRaine Duhart is a playwright, filmmaker, and producer based in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is the founder of Star Entertainment LLC, an independent production company dedicated to bringing bold, stage-to-screen stories to life.
LaRaine is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, the Independent Filmmakers Guild of America (IFGA), and IMDbPro. With over nine original stage productions written and produced, she has built a reputation for crafting powerful, suspense-driven narratives that explore betrayal, family dynamics, and the hidden truths people keep.
Her latest project, Toxic Silence, marks her expansion into independent filmmaking. As Star Entertainment's first feature-length psychological thriller, the film represents not only a creative milestone but also the launch of a larger vision: building a Texas-based hub for independent film rooted in original storytelling.
